User Access
The MPRL is committed to providing open access to our facilities to domestic (US) and international researchers. Since 2015, over a dozen external users have each spent between one and three weeks conducting a range of experiments on our facilities – from diagnostic testing to materials processing to dusty plasma studies.
We invite theory, computational, and experimental groups to submit proposals to use the MDPX device. Experiment types can range from performing studies using our plasma sources and diagnostics to bringing your own hardware to install within the high field magnet.
Our local team will work with you to define your research needs. We expect that when a user experiment is performed, that at least one representative from the proposing team will be present in the laboratory.
